Masks will no longer be required for clients, however they are still strongly encouraged as we head into the busy summer months! Asha will continue to wear a mask for all appointments.
April 28, 2022
We have decided to remove the vaccination requirement, however masks will still be required for all appointment for the foreseeable future. This includes all summer weddings and parties as well, so please remember to ask your guests to bring their masks!

As the province starts to open back up, we have decided to resume taking henna appointments! Please note that proof of vaccination and masks are still required for all appointments. We're so excited to get back to sharing our passion for henna, and can't wait to see you soon!

Sadly, with the crazy number of cases, we have decided to no longer accept any more bookings until further notice. Even with Omicron being a more mild variant, the healthcare system is becoming more and more strained, an issue that we do not want to contribute to, so we feel it is best to limit our interactions right now.
However, we have decided that in the meantime, will continue to sell henna candles! Keep an eye on our shop for the latest candles as they become available.
We hope everyone is staying as safe as they can, and even though we're all unbelievably exhausted, this will end eventually. Stay safe friends!

Due to the Omicron variant and the new provincial restrictions, we are updating our COVID policies. We are doing our best to keep our clients and family safe, so we appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.
Moving forward, proof of vaccination will be required for all appointments. The proof must be an official QR code, not a vaccine receipt. Masks will also continue to be mandatory for the entire appointment. These rules are non-negotiable and refunds will not be issued for anyone refusing to comply.
We will also be limiting our services in an attempt to stick to the essential services only. As such, we will only be accepting bridal appointments until further notice. Bridal appointments must be for the bride only and not be part of a larger event (e.g. mehndi night, sangeet, etc.). We realize that this restriction can complicate a wedding given that the traditional events involving henna tend to be large group events, so we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
We put a huge amount of effort into ensuring our clients have a great henna experience, but that also means doing what is necessary to keep everyone safe. Thank you so much to everyone who has continuously followed these constantly changing rules, and continued to support us. Please reach out if you have any questions, and we look forward to seeing you in 2022!

Starting tomorrow, June 30th, we can finally go back to doing henna as part of Phase 2! Please note that while cases are going down and many people are getting their vaccines, masks are still required for all appointments. Restrictions also still limit indoor gatherings to 5 people, and outdoor gatherings to 20 people, so please make sure your event follows the provincial guidelines before contacting us.
Thank you so much for your continued support, and we can't wait to see you soon!

We're almost there! Personal care services (such as henna artists) don't reopen until Phase 2, which currently is set to be early July. Go support your favourite local businesses in the meantime (they need you), and we'll be back soon!
April 16, 2021
Since the lockdown has been extended until May 20th, we will go back to considering appointments (bridal only) after May 21st. One day this will be over... hang tight friends!
April 1, 2021
With the new province-wide shutdown, our previous announcement will hold true for at least 4 weeks. As usual, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we'd be happy to chat! Thank you for your understanding!

Are you starting to get worried about the rising cases? Us too. Although the Red Zone doesn't restrict personal care services, we are trying to take this with the seriousness that it deserves. Unfortunately that means that, once again, we will not be taking any new bookings for the next several weeks until the situation settles down. Existing bookings will remain unaffected. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding bookings later in the year, and we will reassess closer to your requested date. We're very sorry for the constant changes, and hope our clients understand that we are choosing safety over business. Thank you for your support throughout this pandemic, and stay safe!

"Oh my god, we're back again" - The Backstreet Boys
We are happy to announce we're back to accepting bridal henna bookings! Safety is still our top priority, so we have various precautions in place to adhere to the Red Zone restrictions. Inquiries can be made through our contact page, and we look forwarding to hearing from you!
January 12, 2021
We've made the very difficult decision to no longer accept appointments until further notice. COVID-19 cases continue to rise, and as passionate as we are about henna, no henna tattoo is worth getting sick over. Unfortunately, it is not possible to practice henna without some amount of risk to both the client and the artist (even with a mask), and with the increasingly high case counts across the province, it is simply not worth it. It's strange to start the year by temporarily closing, but it won't be forever! Continue to check this page for when we re-open, and we hope to see you soon!
December 21, 2020
Due to the provincial lockdown, we are unable to accept any bookings at this time. Anyone with an existing booking will be contacted directly, and bridal henna bookings can continue to be made for after January 23, 2021. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding - thank you & stay safe this holiday season!
December 14, 2020
Due to London escalating to a Red Zone, we are currently only accepting bridal henna appointments, with measures in place to adhere to the provincial requirements. Alternatively, holiday henna kits are still available for purchase online with contactless pickup or delivery. Thanks for your support, and stay safe!

As part of Phase 2 of Ontario's reopening, we're back to taking appointments! Exciting as this is, we are still in the middle of a pandemic so masks will be required, and must be worn for the duration of the appointment. Looking forward to seeing you all again!
